“The use of imitation parts in buses, lorries and cars are widespread as most of the spare-parts nowadays are easily available be it wholesale or retail as the profit margin is really big compared with the original parts which are difficult to source be it in city or town . Most will resort to selling the imitation parts but rarely common people like us will detect it as the cover or parts are marked with the branded names but typically is imitation products usually produced from another country notably associated with imitation parts. The law and enforcement units should survey and enforce the laws and bring to book all the unscrupulous business people and charged them in court. The lives of the innocent people will not go to waste if good job are done by the responsible groups and indirectly cases of accident will be greatly reduced. It is high time that the relevant authorities should act fast and swift.”
“To be in developed country status , the workers must be well-paid . This will be the criteria for any possible price hikes . When the laborers are poorly paid , he hardly has any excess fund to spend let alone to buy any luxurious goods. A bus driver is paid S$2500 and above and after conversion it amounted to RM 6000 here . Thus his pay is more than a senior post G52 government servant . A fresh graduate in Malaysia is paid RM 2000 and this will amount to S$800 . See for yourselves , The policy makers should question the employers here , why the workers here were paid lowly compared with their counterparts in Singapore ? That is the reason why so many Malaysians have to travel across to earn a living and will never seek a job here as the pay can't possibly support his daily food and lodging? It is not that they are not patriotic but rather the pay here can't support their livelihoods.”
“Malaysia, being a cosmopolitant country in itself , can't just run away from the fact that whatever races they belong to , they just can't possibly justified the word "pure" in their respective roots. Since Malacca Sultanate till now , nearly 600 over years had gone by and the many generations after that , more or less has been turned into "rojak race " . This is a real fact which no one can denied that . The 1 Malaysia slogan is aptly coined and thus as Malaysians , we shouldn't fighting for our race , instead we should fight for all Malaysians irrespective of their origins. We must put up the very best to challenge the world and not the jaguh kampung tag being haunted us all these years...”
“Mitsubishi Lancer GT is not selling well overseas if it were to compare with other C -segment cars like Toyota or Honda. Since it is not a direct replacement for Waja , it is considered a new model not fully represented by Proton....and the price is too exorbitant . With this price tag , I would rather gofor other makes which are of better second-hand resale value and branded as well.”
“The U -turn in the educational policy will drag our nation at least 20 yrs behind our neighbor like Indonesia and there is hardly any comparison to our closest neighbor , Singapore as she had achieved the developed status far too long.. Only that our political leaders realised this earlier or else it will be too late already.”
“Many espects involved with serious accidents . Bus road wortiness-the design of bus carriage done locally was far away from satisfactory . On impact of road collision , most bus carriages will disintegrate into pieces as compared with foreign design which emphasises on safety and quality .It has been undergoing many tests before it can be put on the road , unlike here or in many asean countries where safety is usually compromised . Most locally produced vehicles lack the safety features and even our export model will not be permitted in foreign markets unless better safety features are installed. Another important expects like original spare-parts not easily to come by ,even if it is yes , it will be very expensive and deterred people to use effectively; poor quality and imitation brakes system ( hydraulic, disk or drum ) were installed , bad human behaviours , poor company management ,ill-equipped and under utilised law -enforcement , lackadaisical highway management etc are seriously lacking . This is only tips in the ice- berg where more fatal accidents will come by day after day unless and until something concrete is done with decisiveness, more innocent lives will be lost . It is a real pathetic state in the transport industry right now.”
