About a third of the country's working population still earns less than RM700 monthly, according to the Human Resources Ministry which is now drawing up a proposal for a national minimum wage.
Even the maids are demanding a minimum wage of RM800 ( free food and lodging provided) compared with our ordinary workers who are paid RM 700 and below . It is just unimaginable that the above practice is condoned right in Malaysia...? Something wrong somewhere?
