Best Buy cuts holiday hiring by half
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Best Buy Co, the world's largest consumer electronics chain, will cut its hiring of temporary workers in the United States this holiday season by almost half compared with 2010.

This move is disappointing for the unemployed, hoping for seasonal work . Despite these facts, the business is spending larger than it ever has in lobbying. Best Buy is fighting income losses by growing its online reputation for the winter season. Well I guess this move will help to increase it's regular staffers’ hours to compensate for the fewer seasonal workers, and also plans to increase services such as free tech support and a longer window for product returns during the holidays.
